Across the two boosted posts, $191.02 was spent to deliver 8,355 impressions and 68 clicks. The Engagement boost (21 Jul) was the stronger performer on cost-efficiency and interaction, returning a 1.78% CTR and reaching 938 people at $31.50 CPM, with all 62 clicks counted as engagements.
The Brand Awareness boost (18 Aug) traded click activity for reach, delivering a much larger audience of 4,300 at a lower CPM of $16.66, which is consistent with its objective of maximising visibility rather than driving clicks. Together, the two campaigns show LinkedIn budget working across both ends of the funnel: one post driving engagement and click activity, the other extending reach efficiently at a lower cost per impression.
We will continue experimenting with the ad objectives. and boosting more posts every week, without exceeding $400/month budget.
